Air Conditioner Repair and ways to cut cost in El Paso

Now that the year is underway, it won’t be long before residents of El Paso, Texas start firing up their refrigerated air conditioners. So with that in mind, our air conditioner repair technicians in El Paso Texas wanted to spend time talking about this year’s money-saving opportunities. It is important to capitalize on them now for three reasons.

First, the discounts and other cost-saving measures are limited. Second, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s HCFC phase out plans remain in high gear, which means many air conditioners will soon be rendered useless. Third, places like the city of El Paso typically adopt code changes at the start of a new year. These code changes often impact swamp coolers, HVAC systems, ductwork, electrical fixtures, furnaces and much more for local hvac companies.

Whether your roots are firmly planted in New Mexico or Texas, it doesn’t matter. A good place to check for rebates on swamp coolers and air conditioners is your local utility company. Oftentimes, their cooling system rebates total $600 or more. Some of the utility companies that our air conditioning repair team has seen offer annual rebate programs are PNM®, XcelEnergy®, CPS® Energy, CoServ® Electric, The Electric Company® and Oncor®.

It should also be mentioned that not all of their rebate programs are directly related to air conditioners. However, they can have an impact on cooling costs. For instance, take a look at CPS® Energy’s Green Shade Rebate. It rewards people who plant trees in designated areas, all of which involve air conditioning systems, rebate checks for up to $250.

In select areas, it may also be possible to receive financial incentives or public accolades through local and state government entities. Let’s take the City of El Paso as an example. Each year, they sponsor a Green Business Challenge that includes public accolades and access to free or low-cost resources. On top of that, our air conditioner repair techs can sweeten the deal through complimentary estimates on cooling systems, installations, replacements and conversion projects including air conditioner repair.

Our air conditioning repair company also offers 100% financing options for refrigerated air conditioning, customer care club benefits, referral programs and maintenance contracts that could save residents too. To learn more about the specific programs that may still be available in a given area, please contact us at SoBellas Home Services for all your home needs including El Paso refrigerated air conversions.
